It's All In The Race!
Mike Mackenzie- An up and coming Star in Autograss Class 7, has designed and built the first Autograss Blog page. The Page has only been live a few weeks but has already proved a massive success, with individuals sending in their meeting reports, form the weekends racing, the Whole community can be kept informed of what’s occurring around the country. Its All In the Race!
The page also provides some links to very good autograss pages. One that’s definitely worth a look is the “EYY WE CRAZY” link. The Girls Produce some fantastic montages of videos, form there own filming and there saying “Eyy We Crazy” and there now trying to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Well done Girls, Great Cause.

Event Report
The 28th April showed Nottingham’s second race meeting of the year – Leicester’s qualifier held on our track and also the Mick Wyld Memorial trophy due to a cancellation of the previous date. 120+ drivers attended and provided some fantastic racing, especially in the class 6’s with local drivers Smig and Janesy, swapping and changing constantly, having a fantastic battle all day. There was some great class 7 racing, Nottingham’s Jake Lee really coming along in his seven, providing two ‘photos of the day’.The Mick Wyld trophies were won by Simon Reeve (Champion of Champions), Barry Wasley highest point scorer and Andrew Clarke (best turned out car).
We had several comments about the new outfield layout being brilliant and working efficiently, so all in all great feedback for our venue.
After a brilliant meeting, qualifying points are extremely close, and so should provide greater racing at Melton and the Nottingham rounds. A meeting I’m sure Mick would have been proud of. Well done everyone!
